Liqueur Adriatico Amaretto Roasted Aged In Planteray Fiji Rum Cask 28° 700 ml
Limited edition (2607 bt.) Amaretto Adriatico liqueur made from roasted almonds and aged in Planteray Fiji rum casks. Planteray is an iconic brand recognised by top bartenders around the world. According to the producer, the rum enhances the Amaretto. The latter is quite sweet, so the tannins and structure of the rum balance the drink. In addition, the almonds and sweet orange notes blend perfectly with the roasted and coffee aromas typical of Fiji rum. The nose of the liqueur is strong, with aromas of almonds and vanilla accompanied by pistachios, hazelnuts, coconut, coffee and citrus notes. The taste is elegant and well-balanced, with notes of chocolate, candy, ripe banana, ginger, pepper, liquorice, nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is long and fresh with notes of maraschino cherry, clove, oak and cappuccino. The empty glass smells of almonds and vanilla, with light fruity and floral notes. Alk. 28% vol. 700ml. From Puglia, Italy.
ADRIATICO Amaretto has its roots in Puglia, a region of southern Italy, famous for its unique architecture and surrounded by the Adriatic Sea. The company's logo and the shape of the bottle were inspired by two of Puglia's architectural gems: the trulli and the Castel del Monte, built in Puglia by King Frederick II in 1240. The castle is distinguished by its octagonal shape and is now protected by UNESCO as "a unique masterpiece of medieval military architecture". Almonds are at the heart of the recipe for Adriatico Amaretto liqueurs. The liqueurs are made from hand-picked Filippo Cea IGP almonds grown in Puglia. These Amaretto liqueurs are very versatile and can be used on their own and in a wide variety of cocktails.
