Autumn at the Marolo distillery means yet another new creation that allows the distillery to impressively express the identity of the territory. Grappa di Barolo Cannubi is a new grappa from the 2013 vintage of Barolo Nebbiolo, the grape considered the king of grapes. This extremely rare Barolo grappa is created from raw material grown and carefully selected in the oldest and most prestigious Cannubi MGA denomination. The gentle intermittent distillation process and the slow ageing in French oak barrels in which the white wine has been stored help to bring out the aromatic profile characteristic of the Cannubi denomination, whose legendary harmoniousness is renowned amongst the world's best Barolo DOCG wines. A particularly elegant distillate where fruity aromas are softened by balsamic notes and hints of spice.
